Established in 1990, Our goal is to provide home beer makers and home wine makers with a full line of beer making equipment, wine making equipment and supplies supported by a knowledgeable staff and a welcoming environment.
CLOSED Sunday, December 30 - Tuesday, January 1. OPEN Tuesday, January 2 for regular business hours.
We are closed on the following major holidays: New Years, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Directions Home Brew Shop is located three blocks west of the Fox River on the Southeast corner of 3rd Street and Main Street in Downtown St. Charles, Illinois. (One block West of Route 31.)
From the North: Illinois Route 31 & 25 parallel the Fox River and reach Illinois Route 64 in Downtown St. Charles. From either road turn west (right) and go to 3rd Street & Main Street. We are on the south (left) side of the street on the corner.
From the South: Illinois Route 31 & 25 parallel the Fox River and reach Illinois Route 64 in Downtown St. Charles. From either road turn west (left) and go to 3rd Street & Main Street. We are on the south (left) side of the street on the corner.
From the West: Take Illinois Route 64 (Main Street) to Downtown St. Charles (You will not cross the Fox River). We are on the corner at 3rd Street on the south (right) side of the street.
From the East: Take Illinois Route 64 (Main Street) to Downtown St. Charles (You will cross the Fox River). We are on the corner at 3rd Street on the south (left) side of the street.
Parking There is no parking on Main Street, however parking is available on 3rd Street right next to the store or there is a city lot ½ block east of the store, enter the lot on 2nd Street. Do not park in the alley behind the store.
Credit Cards We accept MasterCard, Visa, & Discover. Debit cards accepted as well.
Return Policy Food products are non-refundable. Merchandise can be exchanged for store credit if desired. Cash purchases are fully refundable. Credit card purchases are returnable for a 10% restocking fee.
Children Kids are welcome in the store if accompanied by an adult. Dogs also welcome.
